Blue Bonnet Cafe
When Blue Bonnet Cafe called, they didn’t have to tell us who they were. We’d been sampling their mile-high meringues and hubcap sized chicken fried steaks for years. The first thing that came to mind when designing for the Blue Bonnet was the drive across the bridge at Lake Marble Falls and having that modest blue building appear in the distance. Humble as their premises may be, it makes a big statement. The aged neon signage and simple stucco lines speak volumes to their 80 year tradition of fair-priced true texan cafe food. To kickoff the project we turned Reagan loose, blocking out a few days for him to illustrate the iconic cafe down to the finest detail.
A Simple & Fun Web Presence
Consistent with our simple & user-friendly web design philosophy, we created a site navigation that features important information like menus, hours and their location smack dab on the front page.
Everything’s Better with Butter
The Blue Bonnet Cafe staff can keep their menus, news items and specials current via their custom installation of Butter, Paravel’s content management system. Site content is easily kept as fresh as the food, without having to put a work order in to the web coding team.
A Long-Term Relationship
We’ve been honored to regularly team up with The Blue Bonnet for ongoing projects. We recently completed a new edition of their cook book, 80th anniversary coffee mugs, table tents, and perhaps the coolest of all … embroidered biker jacket patches.
